That’s not really the title I would give this wonderful year, but it is still fitting. Maybe not even this year… just the past few months. Less than two months ago, it began by purchasing T-Mobile Sidekicks for me and my wife. No big deal, right? Just another person with a Paris Hilton phone.
Then I lost my job, and went for almost a month without employment. Then I got an amazing job and purchased a new black Macbook to replace the notebook computer I was using at my previous job. Less than two weeks later, I purchased a 42″ LCD HDTV. Sweet, right? Totally. I know this blog is usually about more personal, brooding topics, but who doesn’t want to talk electronics?
Another week has gone by, and I just received an 8GB black iPod Nano from my employer as a Christmas gift. Seriously? Seriously. It’s like God decided to pour out really nice gifts all at once.
And now, any day now, we’re expecting our first child. I know a child is obviously not a gadget, but it is a gift. Am I blessed, or what? Seriously… I don’t deserve it, but I’m not complaining either.
